Mindset is your attitudes, beliefs, and habits of thinking that make reality for you.
The mindset issues are:
- The belief that you cannot sell
- Scarcity
Consulting is someone who is an external resource to an organization that gets paid to provide a service.
I Can’t Sell
Bad experiences with bad sellers lead many to think they cannot sell. You have to believe that the service you provide is really valuable.
What can I do to help the client I want to serve in the market I want to serve to reach their goals? Distill this into a value proposition in enough detail that you believe it.
Knowing the difference between need and demand is important.
You need to talk to people who can tell that there is a demand that you can fulfill.

Scarcity
Perceived scarcity is the belief that there is not enough business out there. This might also include imposter syndrome which is very common.

Go get evidence on what is true. Do market research. Go talk to people on what they need and how you can help.
